Short biography

Rob was born in 1979, and lives on Orts Road in the Newtown area. He has stood for election in Park Ward in the local elections since 2004, increasing the number of votes each time. In the last locals, he finished just 20 votes away from becoming Reading's first Green councillor. He also stood in the General Election for Reading East in 2005 where he increase the vote by 50% and is the current Parliamentary Candidate for Reading East.

Full biography

Rob leads a busy life, running his own gardening business. He is active in the Newtown GLOBE community group and serves on the management committee of the housing cooperative in which he lives.

As an active Green Party member, Rob already has experience of local government in Reading, attending council meetings, performing casework to help people solve their problems and constructively criticising council plans.

Rob said:
