I would like to thank everyone who voted Green this year, especially the 994 voters who put their mark next to the Green Party in Park Ward. This took us to second place in the ward and t within 20 votes of getting Reading‘s first Green Councillor.

This continues the building of the Green vote in Park (474, 688, 994) and puts us in a great position for the next locals in 2010. We won‘t disappear until then though. We will be busy keeping people informed via our newsletters, knocking on doors to talk to people and campaigning for progressive social and environmental change.
